Self defense vs. assault? Question about the knockout game

A knock out blow boarders on a death blow...and in some cases such a strike results in death...How can a punk kid gauge the amount of appropriate brain damage caused in the victim that is not lethal or crippling...In my estimation those who seek to give a blow to the head and cause unconsciousness are playing with fire...the chances of them killing their victim are very good...as far as appropriate force used against such an attacker....There should be no limits. This may sound harsh but there is no other alternative. A strike to the delicate human brain by a fist is akin to poking an ice pick into the brain...and causing damage. Would we used lethal force if the punk was using an ice pick instead of a fist? What is the difference?

What I posted above is merely the law. It certainly is not my idea of the perfect self-defense law. The human right of self-defense is one of our greatest inherent rights in my opinion, and should be treated appropriately within the laws. I don't carry weapons because I like how they feel. I have one live to live. I intend to defend it with any means necessary if the need arises.

OP, what race are you? Depending on your race and the race of the knock out perp, it will either be self defense or a hate crime.

If you're a straight, white male and the person you struck in self defense is not another straight, white male, even if you were struck first, hate crime charges will likely be filed against you due to liberal media backlash.

And that's basically why I'm asking. I know that the media would skew things based on whatever agenda they are pushing whether it be race conflict, adult violence against a child, whatever.

I also ask because I'm a higher-ranked belt in martial arts and do know how to fight back and defend myself. You hear all of those crazy stories about people who are hurt/shot/whatever while breaking into houses turning around and suing the owner, etc. It just got me thinking- what would happen if the assaulter was hurt and then cried assault?
