BBC weather are quite reliable I find, even for locations beyond the UK.

BBC Weather - New York

Isn't 2-3 degrees Celsius (35-37 Fahrenheit) pretty cold in New York for this time of year?

No one temperature suits all.
2-3 degrees with a clear sky and mild/no wind is perfect for me

Sunny but very cold due to high wind gusts. According to NBC at 10AM this morning the wind gusts were 37 mph at LGA and 43 mph at JFK causing the outdoor temperature to feel like in the 20s.

You should go outside more. A bunch of flakes fell last night for a few hours.

This morning NBC reported it was 22 deg (with the windchill factor) which is not a normal/average temperature for late March.

Chava,
No, 22F was the REAL temperature. My outdoor thermometer showed 22 at dawn. Wind chill was MUCH lower.
I am really getting sick of this cold, but at least as many of us predicted we did not get a single snowflake or drop of rain out of this so-called "Winter Hurricane."

I am dogging the gym as a result of this cold because I hate finishing with steam and sauna and 3 showers and then coming out into the icebox. I had one slight cold this Winter and want to keep that count at one.

I'll believe that when I see it. On day one of the "no-freeze zone" the parka is going into the wash machine and then deep into the closet. I think I've worn it 2,318 days this Winter...I'm sick of it.
