Im all for charter schools or what not, but on a serious note charter schools should not be sharing space with taxing payer public schools. Eva mosokowitz and her charter school have enough money to buy existing property and convert them into schools. I feel sorry for disabled kids which many live in poor, low income communities where charter schools and the disabled can not obtain a seat. Charter schools are the new segregation of separate but equal in this country. Its very sad to read especially since we are approaching the 50 anniversary of the Warren Court decision on separate but equal.
Wow. Guess you don't have a special needs student...or a kid in public schools.
According to the article, many of the special needs students at P.S. 149 were originally from P.S. 811. I guess some relocations are less vile than others.

Did you read the following sentence where they stated there was no space crunch then?

Yes, but that's irrelevant. Relocation happens all the time for a variety of reasons. You're just upset because this one has to do with charter schools. Enjoy your double standard.
