Hi I am a 23 year old social care graduate from Ireland and myself and 2 friends are hoping to move to New York in January on a one year graduate visa. Just wanted to find out about employment in the social care field I would love to work in the homeless sector or any sort of community development field if any one could give me any insight on this or organisations that work in this field?And also what areas would be best suited for 3 graduates to live in?

You need to specify your monthly budget for rent for people to give you suggestions.

sorry rent budget would be around $2000-2500 for a two bed app
