I am a recent college graduate in Northampton MA, female, 22. I SO wanted to move to Williamsburg this summer but it isn't with my budget. Closest thing I could fine within my budget was at teh New Lots station on the same line as Willie, but a neighborhood over (Bushwick?). I have heard mixed things, what do you think about the safety of the area, and how often does the train run? Is it a 24 hour line for when after the bars close? How long two and from Bedford Ave in Willie?

I suggest you look at the web-site: MTA | Subway, Bus, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North
It can show you maps, specific train lines, how to get to and from certain places. Its a great resource!

Here's a useful tip. Just because your on the same train line as a specific neighborhood doesn't mean your anywhere close to that neighborhood. For example I live on the D line which is the same line as Coney Island in BK. BUT i'm miles and miles and miles away in the Bronx.

Study the maps!

Lastly...Willie? Willie? Umm Really? Really? It's Called Williamsburg!!!

Depends on exactly where on New Lots. Lookup Brownsville on google. You don't want to be there! Its one of the most dangerous neighborhood in NYC. I wouldn't stay there.

LMAO at New Lots & Livonia being "a neighborhood over" from Williamsburg.
