I am looking for the name of a medical/surgical supply store on E Tremont Avenue 2 blocks west of Waterbury Ave, north side of the avenue. it was right on the corner but i never got a chance to take down the name and #. the block # is probably 3000-3100. ive been searching for it but can't seem to bring it up
If that one doesn't have what you're looking for, Throggs Neck Pharmacy (not sure of exact address, but it's on the corner of Tremont and Lafayette) has a very good selection of medical supplies as well.
Actually not Pelham Bay. Pelham Bay is about a mile north of there and about 3/4 of mile east. Not sure exactly what the old name of the neighborhood is but Throggs Neck or borderline part of Throggs Neck will do.
The Western border of TN is at Bruckner Blvd. Waterbury Ave on Tremont is west of there....now that I look on a map, I do see that it's not considered PB either (although anyone who lives in the area will tell you it is).
Throggs Neck is 10465 zip code, as seen on this map...although for some reason Country Club is considered part of Pelham Bay by some folks. News to me, as my entire life growing up there, I considered myself from TN. Still do.
I went there this AM to get what I needed. area is known as "Schuylerville" maybe?
Schuylerville is further down Tremont, into TN. Fuzzy borders...kind of between Bruckner Blvd and the Cross Bronx (where the library and the Mandee's are).
