TWC depends on where you live. One of their technicians told me this once. Some neighborhoods have consistently HORRIBLE service from them, others are fine. You should ask your immediate neighbors.

I'm currently very happy with my service from Cablevision/Optimum, but they aren't available everywhere.

I've never had a problem with TWC internet. I'm in Queens, though. I don't know anything about FIOS.

No real problems here with TWC other than their fees which seem to increase 3x/year, I've noticed that most of the people, not all, that recommend Fios on this board are frustrated TWC users who can't switch.
