Hampton Court is an affordable complex at 333 East 102nd St. It is a very nice building in a not so very nice but rapidly improving area (between First and Second.) I often walk around the area for cheap food shopping (DEALS and ASSOCIATED) and always feel perfectly safe although both Metro North and Washington Houses are nearby (NYCHA.)
It seems to be reopening its waiting list and is worth the cost of a stamp. Best to get into the area before they complete the Second Avenue line.
