3 speed cameras on the same street in 1 neighborhood, pathetic. I don't understand why Douglaston residents put up with that, along with Northern Blvd's pathetic speed limit.

Two speed cameras about four blocks apart is a bit much unless there was a number of incidents in that stretch which I haven’t read about.
It is a speed camera, my dad and I just got 2 notices this week for doing 41 in a 30 (school zone) both incidents a week apart. $50 fine.
These traps are located in many places along Union Turnpike and Winchester Blvd. These are not school zones as defined by the NYS traffic law VTL 1180c, that is defined as the distance within 1,325 feet on the highway (ave, st, blvd) that passes a school building. I've seen the camera flashes go on when the cars are moving very slowly. The traffic on these ways are moving slowly and I' have not seen cars speeding over the limit. My observation.
I believe cars are not going exceeding the speed limit. I've lived like 3 decades on this neighborhood and I have not seen an accident or a pedestrian hit by a car. Are these only traps to rise revenue?...
