Tell me who else SETTLED this country. Who? Yes, Europeans did employ black slaves and employed Asian coolie laborers, both of which were forms of mistreatment and exploitation. However, those forced laborers didn't build this country.

Not that it surprises me, it was a surprise for my friend because she assumed that gentrification would improve public school system especially in inner city gentrified Brooklyn. Reality check please? No! Majority of those gentrifiers are young, fresh out of college with a choc full of debt, and into their careers whether its professional or creative. Most will not plan any roots in Brooklyn and probably will move back to the suburbs when that time comes. If some do plan on staying with a family most will pay tooth and nail to send their kids to a private school system. Actually here in NYC their is a huge demand for private schools these days.

Still can't find stormfront or some other white supremacist site? Try Google. Don't think that too many here have time for your Angry White Man rant.

Fort Green is already gentrified. If you want to call yourself a gentrifier, move to East New York.

Not all people will have children, mind you. Of those that do have children, children don't equal the suburbs. There have always been people, including white people, who have given birth to and raised children in the city.
