DC - where most young smart people are moving, alot of political history, a place where you can be in the south yet be up north.

Boston- conservative, small towns, college town, lobster roll, gateway to new england, rather racist , boring mostly

Chicago- country, hot dogs, bloods crips & vices, big city, bigger murder rate due to the gvt. dismantling the projects, obamas hometown

LA- gotta drive everywhere, EXCELLENT weather ! , all about fitness and vanity , hollywood types ..and again the weather just blew me away !!

SF- over priced, dont have fashion , google, gentrifying faster than god knows what

If it's liberal and yuppie, I prefer a cabin in the woods...lol.

On a serious note, DC and LA are cleaner then NYC or Chicago.

20 years ago these hip young folks would go running back home if they ever lived in the real New York or DC, all the hipster neighborhoods of today were very dangerous at one time.

I'm not here to bash, just sharing my opinion as an older New Yorker.

As far as Boston goes, it's too cold, too far, and I see nothing that appealing to me once you get out of Connecticut. Boston in my opinion is too far north.

San Francisco I've never been, I'm not really a tech geek, don't see the appeal but like I said I've never been.
