They did just certify (I'm hoping / assuming) the last group of people from the current list. It has reached basically everyone at this point. That cert expires 8/27 which is after 8/10. I wonder if it is an automatic correlation in the system. My hope is with the union's most recent info.
Not sure how true that is, but I've been told that someone complained and got DCAS to extend current Associate list another year. If that is the case, really not good for those who took the exam in 2019 as well as those waiting for the next one to happen.

Why would they do that when they already administered the exam? I understand the first extension due to COVID, but what is the reason for a second one? How many people are even left on the old list?

Well, the union just confirmed:
OSA Newsline -- August 11, 2021
DCAS has just informed us of a change in plan on the ending of the existing Associate Staff Analyst List #5014 and the establishing of the new lists from the 2019 Associate Staff Analyst exams. Previously, the end date, as we announced in the July 26th Newsline, was supposed to be August 10, 2021.
DCAS has now extended the old list a bit further. Because they must extend lists in one year increments, the new official end date of the list is 8/10/22. However, DCAS assures us that they intend to exhaust the old list in the upcoming weeks and that the old list will die at that point and the new 2019 lists will be established. We will provide updates as we receive them.

So the list will be postponed just a few weeks and not necessarily until 8/10/22? That isn't too bad then if that is the case.

There appears to be about 300 people left on the list - somehow I do not see that number disappearing within a few weeks, unless we are about to see many dozens of pools/lists being certified.
One more SA cert:
DOT, 50 requested, 103 certified, 1 vacancy
I've been unable to get through when calling DCAS for updates on the number appointed from the 2019 SA and SAT lists. Is there another way to look this info up?
