Interestingly, I was looking at my jobs NYC website profile created for me after the ACS offer (for filling of the forms) and I saw in Activity there today the Buildings position added to the ACS one, with status "Applied". Considering that I did not go to that pool, seems rather odd.
Well, I just got an email invite for 2/10 HRA/DSS pool. In fact, I got two of them, about half an hour apart. Identical text showing wrong exam number (5045, which is I believe the 2016 Staff Analyst exam).
As I am waiting for invitation to orientation at ACS (and after having been told yesterday that my likely start day would be 2/18 as opposed to 3/2 stated at the pool 1/16) I think I will ignore it.
I didn’t get that one, maybe it will come by mail....
And I had gotten the third email now, showing both exam numbers.
I am a bit farther down the list, so they may have decided not to call me. If I were you, I would go, you may get a better offer or a more suitable job there. It’s not yet your starting date anyway.
Kind of off topic, but I attended the Administrative Contract specialist with DCA today. They were hiring for 1 job, but they invited about 60 people, not exaggerating. There were not even enough seats for all of us in the pool, some of us had to stand and wait outside the room and in the waiting area lobby. I had to wait for about 3 hours and they interviewed around 20 people in those 3 hours before they hired someone. I left without being interviewed. What a joke.
Congratulations. I guess the questions were not that bad.
