He doesn't have any money. A 10 day trip to Italy is crazy expensive for four people.
FOH he doesn't have money. Yeah he ain't Bloomberg but to make him out to be some poor helpless guy with no money is just plain stupid. He's been in politics for a minute with great benefits. As the public advocate, I believe his salary was about 80K. Not to mention all the kick backs and under the table transactions he's received from various groups. All these "consultation fees", etc. Plus he owns rental real estate in Brooklyn which is another income stream for him. Nothing poor about him.
De Bozo has money, no mistaken that. A trip for 4 to Italy is going to cost you about 10K, maybe 12K. And that's including airfare and Hotel. I'm 100% certain Mayor De Bozo has at least 10K in his bank account.
Maybe he's learning how to make real italian pizza and as mayor of nyc he will go to all pizza shops and make sure they measure up or will close them down. The last thing the mayor needs is tourists complaining about nyc pizza and word getting around the world and them not coming here and trying real nyc pizza
Not a fan of Andrew Cuomo at all, but the guy takes his vacations in upstate New York, and they seem to be "working" vacations where he appears to do business between his hiking or whatever he does. And I assume he pays for his hotel rooms. Say what you want about him, but the guy really works.
De Boo Boo is gone, gone, gone at the expense of the taxpayer. He was never known to have a work ethic, and nothing seems to have changed. It's amazing that he was elected for the sole reason that he had a brilliant PR agency that showcased his black children in TV ads. The ads ran and his poll numbers skyrocketed. Had he been married to a white woman he never would have been elected.
Winston Churchill had a great line - something like "the best argument against democracy is to have a 5-minute conversation on politics with the typical voter." PS - WC was not advocating dictatorship. But he had a point, one that is especially germane today with so many "low information" voters.
Oh, well. Maybe De Boo Boo can convince an Italian restauranteur to open a branch in NYC. He can then describe his trip as an economic development success.
