All of the eye witnesses say he wasn't selling cigs at the time.
Sure. And you would believe them!
Did you notice the various packs of cigarettes pulled from his pockets by police on the second video? Think they were taxed?

2 cops put him in a headlock, which is illegal at all times for a cop to do.
No, it is not. Also, the officer grabbed him for maybe a couple of seconds, before releasing.

I hate the race card more than just about anyone
Sure, you do. What kind of people do you think are getting arrested, in a black neighborhood?

You don't know what you are talking about. Hundreds of people are killed in car crashes & pedestrian knockdowns in NYC annually. About 170 in 2013. Hardly any drivers are prosecuted criminally. Those that are charged criminally, are usually acquitted, or at best convicted on lesser charges. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/15/ny...eets.html?_r=0 95% Of NYC Drivers Avoid Criminal Charges After Fatal Crashes: Gothamist
"Out of 1,298 fatal crashes in NYC between 2008 and 2012, just 66 drivers were arrested under vehicular homicide laws—about 5%."

After reading these forums every couple of days I have come to the conclusion that:
1) Most of you don't know what you are talking about
2) Half of you visit the forums just start an argument
And
3) There are a lot of cynical people in NYC
Take away the race argument and Al Sharpton's propaganda machine, and you still have yet another example of an overly militarized police force in this country who treats the public it (supposedly) serves as an enemy first until proven otherwise. An unarmed, mentally unstable grandmother punched repeatedly in the face in LA, a child with a toy gun shot seven times in Northern California, SWAT teams deployed to serve routine warrants, small-town police departments with tanks and rocket launchers....further disenfranchisement between police (and government) and the community at large. We mightas well be living in Kabul or Baghdad by those who are supposedly working in our best interests.

There are times when a militarized police force may be needed, here is an example.

Exactly -- he's just posting a self-description, apparently.
