Liz, I'm wondering if we know or know of each other. Same age range and same early 20s haunts.

I agree, it's totally subjective. I like Captain's as well. Patricia's is also good. I'll put it out there that I'm not much of a pizza fan at all.
At first read it seems like a silly question until you realize how diluted and awful pizzerias have gotten since the late 90s... I have been to a few places recently which I will not mention and it is nothing like a perfect slice of pizza should look and taste, mind you some have been around very long time.
Finally, I have found the best Pizza in the Bronx.
It is Angie's Pizza on Morris Ave betw. E.138th & E.139th
I've been there today and all I can say they have a really good tasted pizza that nobody could compete in the Bronx (in my opinion).
There is a pretty good pizza shop on East Tremont and Webster Ave um Nicks pizza on Gun Hill Rd is great when i was growing the pizza shop in Bartow plaza was marvelous, and on Boston Road btwn Corsa and Fenton ave and The pizza shop over by the old movie theatres in Parkchester is good
Serrento's On Williamsbridge Road in Morris Park, 2 blocks south of Pelham Parkway. I've live in area for decades - this is one of the best!
Imo, Emilio's blows Sorrentos out of the water.
