BORED. Been here since 1969. You couldn't pull me away from NYC for a few days without me wanting to come back. These Days I get ZERO thrill out of living here. No fun if you aren't gay yuppie or hipster. Too F'in expensive to even consider doing crap here....too many rules and regulations.
No NYer would go to Times Sq to chill ever, except teens who are from the boros & unfamiliar with Manhattan yet. If you get tired of living in NY it's because you are exhausted with urban living & need a change, any other cities are much more boring.
I wouldn't say bored, but I will say disgusted, disappointed, angry, and sad, the way my once beautiful neighborhood of Bath Beach is turning into.
So bored, no, there are many things to do in Brooklyn, you don't even have to go to the City anymore.
