If you have any evaluations that were less than satisfactory you're not getting in. Start making calls and get it changed to a conditional.

So I'm at a garage in queens today and a newly promoted supervisor (from this last class that just hit the street) was filling in the 8-4 garage spot for the first time in his whole 3 days as a supervisor , and sure enough an ojt from the class that's currently in shows up 8-4 for ojt garage training lol gotta love it

And? What's the difference between that an san man training? And they'll bang them both if anything went wrong too. Supervisors are supposed to fail so it's ok

The whole first couple of weeks I worked as a SW they sent 9 of us to the garage that ran 4 trucks most of the week so it was the two stewards on their route and everyone else had a month on. And the stewards were ghost.

Then everyone wanted to know why we talked so much and didn't follow the senior men's example.

some info for anyone who cares, I was @ one of the society meetings last night and deputy chief diggins was a guest speaker, he confirmed that there will be 4 classes of 125 for a total of 500 new san workers this year, as for supervisors there may be a class of 30 or so after this class. he spoke of other things the dept was looking into but nothing pertinent to this thread. good luck to all those waiting.

Going to society meetings and paying attention to the speeches? No one likes a suck up lmao
