There's a lot where the supers mess with the board when out of towners are on it. San men talk smack but I've seen it in a lot of places. Ruins supervisor fun. Two out of towners together usually means an easy day of calling out a half truck and no one cares. Then the extra truck at night makes the nds go beyond his span of control and some supervisor makes OT. When the super splits it up so everyone is with someone from the garage, suddenly they're on you all day to bother the poor, hard-working san men
Again it's SEVERAL garages. I've seen it done in a bunch of places in every boro. Lot of san men talk smack then do nothing. Some boros are worse than others (looking at you, Manhattan)
anyone have the number to call to find out if i passed my medical? (not HR, i think i have to call the nurse's station)
Medical nurses station number is 1 (212) 437-4856
. But they do not give you your final results . Hr will be the ones to tell you if you passed or failed . Good luck .
I used to go jogging, take long walks on Staten Island's boardwalk from New Dorp Beach to South Beach, and go bike riding. I also used a my 20 & 30lb dumbbells and my weight bench. If you get into that routine, keep it going until you take your medical to keep your blood pressure where it should be.
It's nothing crazy. You should be in moderately good shape on this job.
You do realize South Beach to New Dorp Beach via boardwalk is 2 miles, if that...
Coming from Staten Island what's the best way to bks18? My gps says bqe to prospect expressway, but I feel like belt pkway makes more sense, even though gps says it's longer, I can't see how bqe could be better

I thought the end of the boardwalk in South Beach to New Dorp Lane was more than 2.5 miles each way... 5 miles isn't a long walk? Walk it twice then lol

Not saying it doesn't happen... but a transfer would be your (anyone's) best option
