What's with all the ace Ventura usernames??? One guy asking how to pay for and take the test, and another guy thinking he has a chance to get on the job if he scored a 97. If you scored a 97 on this test, you have less than a 1% chance of getting hired and that's being extremely generous. This must be a couple of dudes trying to be funny like ace Ventura. Bumble bee tuna.
Yeah I wouldn't say I'm screwed and yes a lot of people have veterans credit and maybe the residency. You can only use residency once so some light of saved it for promotional exams later on I'm not sure. The wait will suck but I usually don't dwell on these things I just get results and forget about it and if a few years down the road I get a call I'll decide if I want it or not. I'm on all kinds of lists I actually received a couple letters for stuff I thought expired lol
On this new test a score of 100 depending on your SS number could easily put you into the 6,000's. Which might make the very end of the hiring years, possible a 4 year wait. A 97 would likely put you somewhere around 12,000's. Which is virtually zero chance of getting hired.
i had a 100 on 6063 , my list number was just around 3,000 and I waited 6 years.
Get used to waiting
What do u mean you can only use residency once ? You can use it on every test .
You could only use it once per exam once your in title. So if you use it to get hired, and then take a promotional exam to become a supervisor. You can't use residency on the supervisors test. A lot of people hold back their military credits for promotional exams. Almost everyone used residency to get on the job
