I'm surprised some of you feel that way. To me, four week stay at FBF was a breeze. And fun.
I truly felt like it prepared me the best way it possibly could.
Maybe that's because I had zero prior knowledge of the job?
Most dudes in my class either had a friend or a family member in the department, and they had an idea of what it entailed.
Yes, the real world will be different, but the training period does help, and you can really benefit from it.

Man was training at FBF fun today! Didn't feel like "work" at all. My group did street driving and boy did I maneuver that truck like I've been doing it since birth Lol.. Tomorrow is the plow and chains and tire changing I believe.. and yeah 2 guys quit today.. idiots

I know they didn't call me yet my list# is in the 7200's they guy in hr said he dint know if I will make it. I thought there was a 5 th class the guy o spoke to from hr said it might not b a 4 th
