You must have your CDL at FP (final processing), you will be skipped if you don't have it by then. when you get into FBF the appointment date is what determines your seniority. Remember it.

You can go through all the steps without a cdl license except final processing( which is the most important).You will never get hired without it. They will keep skipping over you until you get it.After final processing you will receive a slip with a date to report to fbf(Floyd Bennett field) that date is your date of appointment . You are technically not hired until you report to fbf on your appointment date

On a another note I was told if you have any old surgery, for example my acl surgery, to have a doctor right a note and hand it in during medical time saying you are fit to do the job. Have any of you otj heard of that??

lol I've made one comment I would take back . And that was a while back . Furthermore , I've just been asking questions about the job . Also was told not to take so many things seriously , or else I would have a hard time in the dsny . So if that's the case , why are so many people taking online threads seriously ? Just wondering
