2500? Damn, I doubt even the average person who gets a 100 could get a list number that low due to all of the folks who will be claiming some type of credit. It is what it is I guess...

So are you treating all of us out for some Starbucks later?

How do you figure? Everyone is going to claim residency credit. If you don't you better get a perfect score or don't show up lol. Tart was the only credit I claimed. First class will be a lot of military and extra credits after that it's fair game

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. Thinking about taking the upcoming exam. Could anyone help with a few questions?
What is the usual entry level job? Is it driving the truck?
Are you assigned to a specific lot?
Also, does the test require any study preparation?
Thanks in advance

I'm "entry-level" and I'm mainly on baskets, but 2nd most job is probably GU (working in the garage)
I'm sure it varies garage to garage though.

You're assigned to a specific garage.

I don't remember what's on the test, but if you search on Amazon for DSNY test 2014 you can find a study guide for $15. With 70k taking the test, I'd buy it.

Yeah you'll be driving the truck a lot and tossing things in it. You'll be assigned to a specific garage, probably as far away as they can get from where you live lol

The test was completely overhauled from last test. The last extension stemmed from them not having it ready so you'll be the first to take the new style test. Don't know what's on it

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input.

I live in Yonkers, so would I be eligible for the residency credit?
