FWIW i've heard there is talk about a November class. Union trustee said this at roll call wednesday when I was out of town in manhattan. He relayed this news while also saying he was skeptical and said he'd believe it when he sees it, but I guess there is hope since there is at least talk of another class.

I know for a fact that they are up to atleast 557* because my friend starts September . I'm just curious how much higher they went
I'm unsure what happened but there are two people scheduled for FP tomorrow so I didn't ask, though I'm assuming they are people who forgot stuff the first time
Last list #5593 I believe, question about the upcoming exam. My brother who is a FDNY said this is how city works. The test we took #6063 will expire in 2/2016 however any new exams will override our exam. So does this mean if there is a test coming Feb and we didn't take it again and they start hiring mid 2015. Will we get bumped off the list? Seems kinda unfair if this is true.
Is it best to just sign up for the exam February? My list # is 534X but I have a bad feeling many people ahead of me will have their requirements being that this could be the last class this year.

No need to worry the city takes forever to grade these tests.. So let's say the test is given Feb 2015 it probably won't be done and certified till like mid 2016.
