Does anyone know if the Boulder Creek Steakhouse in College Point, Queens is closed for good? And what about the Brooklyn location?

Spring Creek/BK was open as of two weeks ago. Dreadful place though, even as chains go.

I actually find Spring Creek to be the perfect place to put these type of enterprises. They belong next to a landfill.

What's so bad about it? I've only eaten there once, but it was a very long time ago. I don't remember having any negative feelings about it.

I didn't mean it like that. I'd go there myself for the blooming onion. Same with Olive Garden...fill up on the free salad and garlic bread...and bring the whole entree home for later. I mean they don't necessarily need the good real estate. People will see the commercials and seek them out.

I always wanted to try out the one in College Point. Always passed by it whenever I would go there and always caught my attention.
