i speak french. i would interview a real live NYPD officer before I decided to be one.
prepping before you got a green card is like buying driving gloves before you get the porsche.
most do not have a clue what being a police officer is like. trust me its not like Paris.

ok but imagine the project. i could not go to the us, try to get a green card etc for finally fail because something is not possible for a foreign person. do you understand? I have to imagine and take information before go to the us and try

It isn't easy to get a green card and come to the USA. Why don't you just be a police officer in France?

I know this, but I find the nypd seems better than the french police: the vehicles, all the things, the laws..
