Exactly. The pretense that the Mayor has been keeping up - that's there's nothing to be gleaned about one's character or decision-making skills from the company one keeps... Just theoretical nonsense when compared to the actuality.
Perhaps her son's loser behavior gave them the out they needed to encourage to take off "some time" for "family" reasons.
Honestly, I hope you are right. I agree with you 100%. In my experience we have seen all to often children of powerful politicians fall into the abyss and their lives go right down the toilet.
Look at the kids of powerful politicians who turned out fine. The Bush daughters (despite getting busted once or twice). George P. Bush (Jeb's son). Yes, Noelle had a horrible drug problem. Chelsea Clinton is fine. The Obama girls are fine.
I think the kids of most powerful politicians end up doing fine, but a couple of crazy cases that spectacularly screw up get more attention because bad news sells.

Interesting how you only mention Republican kids getting locked up but you conveniently left out the Kennedy clan. ****ing libbys are blind to everything execpet their own short comings. This why our Country has been taken down the way it has the past 6 years with no bottom in sight. This is why our City is going to **** with race baiting thugs like Sharpton at the helm. You know what will be the icing on the cake, when deBlasio's kids start to **** up. We haven't seen much of them since the story about his daughters drug addiction came out and haven't seen Dante since he couldn't get up in the morning to shovel the side walk the day of the snow storm.
It's only a matter of time before deBalsio's drug addled Daughter slips in her recovery disappears on a seven day bender and is picked up in Spanish Harlem by the NYPD for prostitution and possession of Crack and a crack pipe. Home girl is gonna have to suck some dick for that rock.

De Blasio's son will probably be on the same Harvard or Yale campus as Sasha Obama.
So not only does Noerdlinger shack up with a murderer and has a loser son, she had a 28,000 tax lien against her, a ton of unpaid parking tickets, and 7,000 in unpaid EZ Pass fees. You might be able to dismiss one of these various items (except maybe the murderer!), but all of them together adds up to a person of very questionable character who thinks the normal rules and laws of society don't apply to her.
