I think all those smart kids interested in non-marketable skills such as art/history/social work should consider trying for this job first so by the time they turn 23, or around graduation time, they will make a decent living not to mention all the benefits coming along, instead of finishing a 4-yr money draining college education and stay unemployable and live with parents with no social/health insurance.

In a way this kind of low-skilled jobs pays overly well at the cost of tax payers contributions and the exhaustion of the maintenance funds for the MTA facilities/services.
I don't think it's low skill, not when you are making arrests, writing summons and get to carry a gun. Tow truck driving, snow plowing and traffic management isn't rocket science, but it's not menial labor either.

Hello, new here to city data. I signed up to take the bto exam and can't wait to take this test. Those who signed up for the exam, good luck!!

Hey Bto2015, first: a seat belt is considered a non moving violation. Second: If you have moving violations, suspension(s), or an accident record, you may be disqualified. Considering it was 2 years ago, i believe another year and a half more to go it should be off your driving record. If they call you before then with those still on your record, chances are they will disqualify you. You been good for 2 years though so keep it that way, don't even get another seat belt ticket, you never know.

Useless job that is being replaced by cameras and pay-by-mail citations.

Remove the collectors and reduce the tolls. This job is obsolete.
