From what I heard someone got into academy with 88, once the final list is made then you'll know where you stand, remember not a lot of people took this test compared to dsny, keep on taking tests!
looks like i might be getting the call then. does anybody have more info on what this job is like from day to day? and what is the most you can make with overtime+top pay?
I stalked the mta site waiting for the proposed answer key for March 21st test... Now I'm mad, I got 8 wrong. There goes my chances.
That is a 90%. Not terrible. Each answer is worth 1.25 points X 80= 100
1.25 x 8= 10
Does anyone know why some answers have A,B,C,D? Does that mean there was no wrong answer for that question?
The thing about this job is that you need to be some type of physical shape and be fairly healthy. A lot of people called won't get passed the physical, some will fail the mental eval, others may fall short on the back ground test. I think right off the bat that eliminates 25% of the people who took the test conservatively.

You can easily do around $100,000 a year with OT once at top pay.
just graded mine from 3/21 ... got 3 wrong so that leaves me with a 96.25.. took this exam in 08 and got a 86 i believe with a list number of 24xx.... never got called.... test was much harder in 08 though this new test was a joke compared to that one
