Henna, Because if I have to chose between representing myself and using a buyer broker i would go with the buyer broker. Sellers are the ones paying commission, not buyers so I would rather have a broker to help me go thru the process. I did read the article, thx. It is interesting... BTW, most people on open houses are putting a broker name when sign in so by default listing agent will co-broke

But from my experience, in most cases people put in a broker name on the open houses when they are signing in , meaning most of them using a broker. I just thought that it would be possible and make sense to use my daughter as a broker since she has RE license. I could have put her name when visiting open houses. But looks like everybody on this forum disagrees...
As an agent here in nyc im going to tell you theres some listings that dont make certain websites for a few days/week and are passed along via certain agents/companies. Same like rentals.
