I've always thought northern Jamaica (north of Archer Ave), the busier and denser area of the neighborhood would be gentrified or become more developed in the future. Here we have it, it always made sense to me. That part is also close to Kew Gardens, Brairwood, Jamaica Hills, ect.
I was joking of course. That neighborhood is primed for a revitalization with its extensive transit system and proximity to the highways.
