Does anyone else dislike this autumn? This is the wettest autumn as I can remember of nyc. I usually like cool and misty weather. But considering that any tiny bit moisture makes the dated nyc subway venues unbearably filthy and muddy, I can not think of anything worse than continuous rainy days here.

Are we going to get any hurricanes this year?

Really? You can't think of anything worse? Not even blizzards? Not even long stretches of 100+ overwhelming heat in the summer? Not to mention, in rainless times, how about a drought?

Right now is a little light rain, with no wind, not bad at all.

I really like this autumn. I've had to deal with snowy or frigid autumns in Chicago for years, and the fact that it was near the 60s felt like a godsend. I really like NY weather strangely enough.

miserable is a harsh word. Without rain there would be no trees and vegetation allowing you to breath, then we would die, now that would be miserable.

I'm dreading the winter even more. If it's anything like last year, God help us. UGHHHHH

I like this weather. Even having a few days of rain doesn't bother me. What I can't stand are the super hot, muggy summers. At least we didn't get too much of that this summer.

Like I said, I don't mind cool and misty weather, but the messy and filthy subway conditions caused by the rain drastically reduce the quality of commuting in NY.

i like this wet weather especially when you can sit under an awning and watch the rain and feel the moisture and breeze(my office has a leisure patio for our patients which is half covered)

this wet weather also makes apartment lobbies and apartments seem warmer and cozier

but i have really gotten to hate winters especially earlier this year

and you know what I hate when you dress very warm for the AM and in the afternoon you start feeling all itchy and hot from the way you dressed even tho its still cold outside
