Which car service do you like, especially for going to and from which airports and from which boroughs. Also, which car service do you use locally?

Recommendations and criticisms welcome.

For me, going to either airport from Brooklyn, I use Bushwick as they seem to be the best bargain. But often, they are idiots with airport pickups so I use Northside. From or to Manhattan I prefer Carmel.

I am a big time subway user but if we are going to the city at night when it's raining or nasty cold, I always call Northside.

Look forward to reading some comments on this subject.

I really like Harbor View based right in Bay Ridge a few blocks from where I live. They are the cheapest in this area for airport runs. They're always on time when you make an appointment. They're also very prompt when calling from the airport for a pick up. I call as soon as I'm off the plane and most times by the time I get my luggage they're there already or very close.

I use Rego Express for trips to JFK or La Guardia airports. There are the cheapest that I have found and are reliable for airport trips.

A friend of mine likes Mexicana for all his trips within Queens.

I second Carmel. several family members use them. Very reasonable and excellent service. They're always early!

My family uses Towne in Nassau County if we're traveling in a large group to JFK.

Uber or Empire CLS.

The latter because I like their cars.. usually 2014+ Mercedes S-Class sedans, BMW 7 Series and Escalades.
