Windows are small and limited. Depending on where your apartment is, you may not get a lot of natural light in the apartment.

Ugh but you also have to live on 34th street.

How much is a Hell's Kitchen 2-bedroom apartment with view of midtown skyline?

Possible with this budget?
Why don't you save that money, live cheap until you can buy real estate?

Right now, it isn't the nicest neighborhood..at all.

Hell's Kitchen would probably be your best bet. Other neighborhoods w/ what you are looking for are way above your price range.
It's a good idea to buy in areas before they are the nicest neighborhoods. You get a big return on your investment. The construction will be over in a few years and property values will be higher as more amenities open up.

If you wait until the neighborhood is entirely gentrified, your returns are much smaller.

Living cheap isn't enough to buy Manhattan real estate.

To qualify for a $3500 a month apartment, landlords will want you to prove your salary is at least $140,000.00 a year.

NJ side has a better view of NYC than living in NYC.
