"Bridges" as a category is one thing.
"Churches" as a category is another one thing.
Bridges and churches together, however, are two things, and not one.
I therefore think you meant "TWO things we have plenty [note the spelling] of ARE bridges and churches."
In any case, the statement is not accurate. The Throgs Neck Bridge and the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge make a grand total of two bridges, which is hardly "plenty". Whitestone and Bayside are also not as full of churches as are most parts of northern Brooklyn, or even parts of Queens such as Middle Village or Maspeth.
whitestone has quite alot of really nice churches , i can think of about 6 right off the bat that are very nice to photograph and out of the ordinary..
2 major bridges right next to each other in just about adjacent neighborhoods is more than most areas have since they lack even one .
