Hmm, I haven't been to many malls recently; here are the few that I can remember.

I would PERSONALLY rate them like this (many may disagree)

- Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa (5/5)...Stores appeal to various different demographics, nice size and they just added a gym.
- Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington (4/5 or 1/5): Good if your rich and bad if your poor.
- Westfield South Shore in Bay Shore (3/5)....something I don't like about this mall; can't put my finger on it.
- Broadway Mall in Hicksville (3/5)

ahhh, none of those malls mentioned are in the ny metro area. If you define that area as the city boroughs

Garden State Plaza has 300+ retail stores (plenty of high end to medium priced stores), awesome movie theater, great restaurants (3 new to open) and best of all - NO tax on shoes and clothes!

Outlets of Bergen Town Center, Jersey Gardens, Paramus Park mall, Woodbury Commons, Palisades Center are also nice malls!

Why so much emphasis on the elevators.....do you have a disability?

I think the Queens Center Mall is pretty decent and you also have nearby Rego Center, Rego Center II and in the other direction the Queens Place Mall.

I can see elevators being an issue if you have a baby stroller to push around.

Isn't the Mall at Short Hills where those thugs killed a guy in cold blood for his Range Rover last year?
