Has anyone been accepted for the Knickerbocker Village waiting list lottery?

I received my application/check back last week, unopened. It's really odd that not a single person who posts here (other than a friend of a poster) has mentioned being accepted into the lottery. I wouldn't be surprised if this was mostly rigged from the beginning.

I applied for the 1 bedroom though - I guess until you receive the application back there's still a chance...

Got my application/check back in the mail yesterday with the rejection letter. They're just mailing them back slowly.

has anybody heard any news about this? there was a posting up last summer that knickerbocker village was approved to go coop and you have an opportunity to buy your apartment at a discount if you choose to. Those were just rumors, but i'm curious if there was any truth to it or anything.

I have no knowledge of the coop rumor, but a friend of mine was selected for the waiting list in 2015. She chose not to complete the application because the location didn't work for her. I wasn't a member of this site back then and just saw this.
