Just shop somewhere else for Christmas. My family did all of their Christmas shopping and the protestors had no effect on us, other then providing us with laughs whenever we turn on the news.
Supposedly they were plotting to block all the tunnels and bridges into Manhattan. I went into the city yesterday over the GWB. Didn't see a single protester in the morning going in or leaving in the afternoon.

They better not stop protesting until Jan/Feb at least. That's all I'm saying.
This is what happens when the inmates run the asylum. These protests, at least as far as blocking traffic and trying to shut down the city, should have been squashed hard when they first started.

Deblas doesn't want them stopped. He and his ilk love this ****.
It was far less than the 40,000+ who responded on Facebook (according to the OP) but there were a lot of people. I would think maybe a couple of thousand. I'm sure the news will report with a number later on.

Why would the police stop them? The cops on this forum are all happy about all the over time they get, and this helps those close to retirement get better pensions! Occupy Wall Street and now these protesters have enriched the pocket of cops.
The cops do not have a problem with the vast majority of protesters, only with a few violent criminals that deliberately try to create violent conflict.
