No worries, once it gets colder they will fizzle out and the protesters will go back to Starbucks and their mommies basement.
Bingo. It's many of the people who were around with Occupy Wall Street. But protesters eventually run out of money or parental support and then have to worry about how to get fed.

So just caught some breaking news on CNN. Missouri Police killed a teen boy after interrupting them doing something in a dark alley by a gas station. Cops say they approached the pair and one the teens drew a gun on them and the cops put him down, and yes he was black. The locals are already starting to go buck wild. Merry Christmas.

Why would the protesters end their protest? Just because the mayor asked them to? There is no reason to stop before anything was gained. And so far their gain is...zero.
If they stop now (I guess) they are concerned their protest will die down, like occupy wall street. They need some sort of achievement to show.

I think your comment is derogatory and violates terms of service. Please refrain from racist comments.

Your comment is hateful. Seriously, true Christians know how to treat others and reading your hateful post makes me sad on this beautiful Christmas Eve. Peace to all!

Is this thread full of NYPD? Wow, what a cesspool of ignorant comments.

Perhaps if the cops handled things differently and did things to reinforce to citizens that they are there to work with them, not against them, folks would rest more easy.

When you have the police basically claiming they are in a state of WAR, AGAINST the citizens they take an oath to protect and serve, including peaceful protesters, the view from the common Joe would be different.

God forbid the ones that are supposed to enforce the rules, PLAY by the rules, what a bull **** hippy concept.

Yes, I often check out the NYC forum and I couldn't believe the downright nasty, racist and hateful commentary about the mayor, protesters and victims of police brutality. It's funny because freedom of speech is a hallmark of our democracy. I don't want to live in China or Russia. I am quite proud to be an American but police brutality and corruption have no part in OUR democracy. The police are not soldiers. Citizens are not the enemy. There is a movement in this country and the paranoid enablers of corrupt police are showing fear by expressing hate. Check the hate, people!
