Which African Americans have no "admixture" (which sounds like the dubious racial "science" of the first half of the 20th century)? Any African American lighter than ebony has "admixture", though the story is very likely a sad one dating to slavery.

I see your point, and will ad that many of them (most do). However, I speak to how they identify themselves. As I stated how Rangel "might" perceive himself. Not what the United States says he is.

For African Americans to know their true lineage (much of it with European, American Indian roots), genealogical studies must be undertaken. Otherwise, they are just considered "African Americans."

Lol. If that's what we do, mark me down as proud of it! But again, the main point is, no one mentioned his race but you. We spoke about an incident that he was involved it, which had absolutely nothing to do with race until you, the racialist, interjected yourself.
