I'm glad that they will be okay, but it's horrible that they were shot.

Well I'd say de Blasio's head is going to role for this. He'd better come up with something fast.

On a longer term basis, I think policing alone isn't enough to lower crime. Bloomberg did the right thing in pushing out lifelong welfare recipients, and in encouraging development in order to get rid of organize crime (certain crappy small business and landlords are a front for that).

That is horrible. I feel NYPD is there to protect everyone. I feel bad for DeBlasio.

Do you think the assailant is Caucasian? What are the odds the gunmen is? It will receive less coverage if the assailant is Caucasian.

Glad they will be ok, and this appears to be nothing more than a shootout during the response to a crime. Sad, but that happens all the time, all over the nation, the only reason we hear little such news is usually the perps miss with their shots.
