One bedroom (to convert into a 2bedroom) apartment from $3,500-$4,000. Ideally this apartment will have midtown views from the bedroom and have a rooftop deck that offer lovely views too.

Possible with this budget?

Lol I lived in a studio with all that for $3100. 1 beds in our building started at $4500, and you definitely couldn't convert them. It was also a condo building.

One question, why do you "need" that.

Perhaps this building. But the area is very "up and coming" (far west side) and is a complete construction war zone right now.

505 West 37th Street, Luxury Rentals, Midtown West, TF Cornerstone

Right now, it isn't the nicest neighborhood..at all.

Hell's Kitchen would probably be your best bet. Other neighborhoods w/ what you are looking for are way above your price range.

Current apartment has a lovely view. Wouldn't mind looking at the ESB all the time or the tall midtown skyscrapers

Do you have a year's lease at your current place? It seems a little early to be looking to move if you've only been there 4 months.
