1: Does anybody know what the two-express tracks on the upper-level portals on 4th Avenue & 64th Street (now blocked by a highway support) on the N-line used for, did they ever connect with the 3rd Avenue elevated line?
2: What were the three tunnel portals going to be used for on the D-line/West End "cut" between 4th and 5th Avenues at 38th Street? Was the South Brooklyn Railway that busy to warrant their own tunnel?
3: Whats wrong with an R,N & D express and a T local running on 4th Avenue to Manhattan after the
2nd Avenue is fully operational?
4: We know that the IND-second system was never built which makes an F-train rush-hour express on MacDonald Avenue and a H-train Brighton local (old Franklin Avenue shuttle) very necessary. The logo for that train would be a white-H in a green circle like the G-train. I never could understand why the G-train terminated at Smith/9th Street, Church Avenue was the logical place. Does anyone?
