waving "it" away? You are assuming the next attack will also be by plane. it is highly unlikely any terrorist group will try to attack the same way it did before, it would be too obvious
So i guess there will never be another suicide bombing overseas since it's too obvious?
Then you might as well scratch off employers like Conde Nast, Moody's, WestLB, BNY, BofA, Goldman Sachs and AON (Citi is nearby) from your list of prospects. UBS is looking to relocate there also. There'll be a long line of jobseekers looking to work in that area.
I work in one of the WTC buildings, in a pretty high floor even. I do like the building. And I never really thought about a "potential" future threat so far... I mean, I am more worried about the current snow storm .
If you keep thinking about the past, it will only make you paranoid for not much benefit. And that's already losing against those guys from 9/11.
One thing they could improve though is the food option for lunch. It's not bad but it could be better. That would be an argument I would be open .
You're kinda letting the terrorist win by not working there (if given the opportunity). The whole goal of those attacks were to instill fear and insecurity into Americans. If it wasn't WTC, it could have been ESB or Times Square. Pretty much any prominent location with any large number of people or high profile names would be the likely target for any number of terrorist groups or cells. If you're not going to work at WTC then you might as well not work anywhere else in NYC or any major city in the US.
F it then, they won because my azz will not work there

Suicide bombings are easy to accomplish, & overall they are very very small scale. Hijacking a plane & then trying to crash it into an iconic building in the capital of the world, will never happen again
I would work there if I ever got the chance and moved up there. Without a doubt. I refuse to let the terrorists win, and they need more people working there.
I generally say there isn't enough money in the world to get me to work there. I was just making a networking-type call to an ex-colleague, putting out feelers, you know - and when I discovered the office had moved to the WTC, I immediately lost all interest in ever working with them again.
Helllll no. If I had a job that announced they were moving there, I would quit and find a new job.
