It is now 6:30am the morning after the city seemed to have shut down because of "Juno" -- Just went for a walk to Gardenia Deli on 8th ave... taxi's are up and going -- hell there was even a line to get a sandwich in the deli. Cops weren't stopping anyone from driving. All this media-BS ... I mean the constant loop-videos of people grocery shopping and footage of empty shelves -- when will it end? ITS NOT EVEN SNOWING. Nothing was shoveled when I took my walk and it was easy to walk through. 6 inches maybe? I had sneakers on. This is like nothing. De Blasio is going to be in big trouble for this. $$$$

Deblasio is going to try to spin it (e.g. "we're only going by what the weather forecasts told us, the roads were cleared much faster w/o people on the roads...blah, blah, blah...) but his term so far is going very badly. If he doesn't lift the ban soon enough, he will have to face major criticism.

Do you know how much the MTA is losing right now?

MTA employees were reportedly "blindsided" by Cuomo's decision to close the subway completely, according to the Brooklyn Paper.

Plows have been going up and down the avenue and my street all night scrapping blacktop. The whole thing is a disgrace.

This decision was Cuomo's. It was made ENTIRELY based on political posturing.
