I found this article online.

I currently own a Co-op Now. its about 50 something years old in the sheepshead bay area. its worth about 190,000 to 200,000.

will the value decrease or increase over time? thankyou

According to reality trac the Bronx isn't any better and housing here is also unaffordable.

As to answer your question? We need to understand that Brooklyn is a huge borough with a diverse housing stock. Some areas are more disreable than others such as Northwest Brooklyn which has hot real estate selling in the millions while at the other end sheeps head bay an house might go for 200k. Will the value of your house go up? If supply goes down and demand goes up maybe your property might be a hot commodity and the value will sure go up. Big problem with Sheephead Bay is that is far from the city and not disenable for affluent crowd, gays, artists and careerist women except for Eastern buyers like Chinese and Russians.
