Since we were not able to see all the store fronts when we came up for the parade we are coming back on the 22nd to see the Rockettes.
What are some MUST NOT MISS things to see while we are there for the day??
Thank you in advance for your advice.
Robin

At Rockefeller Center: Fifth Avenue and 49th Streets.

While I love the Nutcracker, the tickets are hideously overpriced. Just walking along Fifth Avenue to see the store windows is nice.

I second that! Other NYC christmas places that I enjoy going to is the NY Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, during the Christmas season, it is very festive and beautiful, a must see for me!
I also like to simply just walk up and down the streets in midtown where Macy's and Lord & Taylor is, they usually have beautiful Christmas dislplays inside and out.
And to eat, go to Little Italy, the food may not be the best in Manhattan, but they deck out Mulberry Street with all sorts of festive Holiday decor.
Or try the Bronx's Little Italy (Arthur Ave), they also have very good restaurants and are more authentic than Manhattan's Little Italy.

You can't miss the other Christmas Trees spread throughout the city either, Wall Street even has a tree of its own.

If the weather isn't too bad, take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. You'll remember the harbor views for the rest of your life!
