Nice? Safe? Is the demographic more like Howard Beach or more like Ozone Park? Tried to used the demographic dot map to check it out but it isn't labeled so I couldn't really tell. Just curious cause I love Howard Beach and the vibe that is there that used to be in most of the outer boros, just ain't that much multi-family housing.

There's a good amount of elderly people there but I don't think they're the majority. Neighborhood is mostly families.

Thanks. I looked at a similar building in South a Brooklyn (sheepshead/Brighton/Manhattan beach area) and it seemed the resident profile leaned either very elderly or new Russian immigrants who don't really socialise with people who can't speak their language...it would be great to be in a nice family friendly community with kids for my boys to play with.

I always see plenty of kids around the area, especially by PS 232. Not really many immigrants around the area.

I don't mind immigrants I just don't like trying to penetrate an insular community. Hope I didn't come off as some kind of xenophobe,

Thank you!

Do you know what High Schools and IS the area is zoned for? Would rather go public but catholic is an option if the schools get a lot of students from bad areas

Don't worry about it. I personally wouldn't want to live in a area with a low amount of english speakers myself.

Anyway, I think PS 207 in New Howard might also be a middle school now. MS 202 in Ozone Park is also a high school. I went there for middle school over 10 years ago and back then it wasn't.
