Heard these guys are the real deal when it comes to hot fast tasty food and any trip to NYC must include a visit to thier cart? any feedback or recommendations from their menu?
They're good but completely overhyped... You want good halal food... go to where you find them a dime a dozen... By Jamaica ave starting from parsons blvd and heading up... They have all different types of halal carts with their own unique flavor... My personal favorite is the one on Guy R. Brewer and 162nd right in front of the main entrance of York College... When I was working at I.S.8 on Merrick and I was waiting for the 112 that was my spot every time... Not sure if the same guy is still there but he was awesome and cheap... I'd get the mixed combo platter with the meal which included the chopped up pita bread and a drink for six bucks... You can't beat that...
I think the one on 53rd and 6th gets so much hype because from what I've tried, it's easily the best spot in Midtown and Manhattan always received all the attention...

There is a guy in front of the UPS store on Jamaica Ave by the Rufus King Park. Man, that was the best chicken over rice I've had in my life. I'm gonna go back sometime to make sure it wasn't a fluke.
King of Shawarma off 31st st Astoria. End of story.
