Just took a walk through a manhattan hood, and yes, there are a lot of sketchy figures out there. Some of them looked/acted very aggressive. There were 8 police officers discussing some issues with two thug-looking guys who were much louder than the police officers and sounded as if they are in the possession of the streets. A very disturbing sign.
NYC is not a predominately Black city so what relevance does Black on Black crime have here?
Truthfully Black on Black crime is mostly gangsters taking each other down. If you are Black and not living that lifestyle you have nothing to worry about.
Most of the recent high profile crimes (cop shooting or pushing passengers down the train platform, for example), not to mention those petty ones like the knockout games, appear to be linked with black thugs one way or another, does that address the relevance?
(2) Where am I blaming others? I'm simply stating it serves no purpose to arrest people over something as petty as drinking or peeing in public if they aren't harming anyone or putting someone's life in danger. Should we arrest people who park illegally or forget to pay the meter too?
Do you know of cases that ppl got arrest for just drinking or peeing in public, or is it another invented excuse used to try to disarm the policing force?

No one gets arrest for drinking or peeing in public, you get a ticket/fine for doing it. Most of this ticket are design for improving quality of life around night clubs and bars. If anything we should start enforcing ticket and fines for people who don't pick up after their dog. I don't want to feel like I live in a 3rd world country.

That is statistically insignificant. To use your words.
If most violent crimes committed by Blacks are on Blacks then you would appesr to be safe statstically.
Whats needed is morr sex. If people like Leoli and the right wingers literally used their mouthes on thugs, homeless, and other undesirables not only would we have quiet, but thesr bad people would behave better because a little TLC goes a long way.

You sure nobody gets arrested? (I'm seriously asking, not being sarcastic) I agree wholeheartedly with your last statement, I pickup after my dog, but it feels like my efforts go to wast since where I live others won't do the same unfortunately. Littering is one of my biggest pet peeves. (oh that pun, )
I'm not even going to dignify that other poster with a response. It takes a special someone to think I'm insinuating the NYPD should be unarmed because I feel like people shouldn't be arrested for petty crimes.
